KBR is seeking a driven Senior Accountant to support general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes in Huntsville, AL or Houston, TX. The role involves foreign currency movements, hedge accounting, debt accounting, and ad hoc analyses across global operations.

The position offers opportunities to work with Finance leadership, collaborate across the organization, and contribute to the growth of Trinzic as it becomes independent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience with journal entries, reconciliations, GL maintenance, and month-end close.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare and complete monthly account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities to meet deadlines.
• Maintain GL integrity in line with US GAAP and policies.
• Support variance analysis and ad hoc financial reporting.
• Record debt-related entries and maintain debt amortization schedules.
• Collaborate with finance teams to support reporting initiatives.
• Assist with audits and internal control compliance.
