Action Target, a Provo-based global industry leader in firearms training technology, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team. The role focuses on revenue and cost accounting, month-end close, and working with private equity investors across multiple subsidiaries.

You will mentor teammates, support ERP-related improvements, and ensure compliance with tax and reporting requirements while collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors.

Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, processes and internal controls.
• Solid experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Aufgaben

• Assists in recording transactions related to and ensuring the accuracy of accounting of revenue and expense recognition, billing, cost accounting, cash management, GL, AR, AP and fixed assets.
• Helps coordinate and conduct the monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Completing monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assists in providing problem solving, application of accounting principles and issue resolution across the accounting team of 6 to 8 members.
• Assists in the monitoring, maintenance, documentation and enhancement of the accounting policies, procedures and internal controls and accounting team efficiencies.
• Provides guidance for accounting/finance tools and system.
• Cost accounting activities.
• Engages with outsourced functions (tax, audit and transfer pricing).
• Assists in the oversight and filing of tax compliance matters (Fed & State Income Taxes, Sales & Use Taxes and Foreign Tax Obligations).
• Mentors team members
• Assists with the production and review of monthly financial statements and reports.
