Job summary

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES seeks a Senior Accountant to manage corporate accounting tasks and controls, playing an integral role in external and intercompany transactions. This position ensures proper accounting and assists in the global consolidation process within the Oracle R12 system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field essential.
• Preferred CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification.
• Professional experience in public accounting or a large SEC company.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing process and prepare journal entries.
• Liaise with Global Treasury and analyze new accounting standards.
• Monitor intercompany balances and resolve accounting queries.
• Prepare audit workpapers and coordinate auditor information requests.
• Assist with system maintenance and automation projects.
