Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results, research variances, and provide meaningful insights to management.
• Review and understand general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation to external auditors.
• Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance, review work product, and help coordinate workflow within the accounting team.
• Assist with both corporate and property accounting responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
