Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Sr Accountant to manage financial records, prepare statements, and ensure GAAP compliance. The role involves analyzing complex data, reconciling accounts, and contributing to the company’s financial health.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 4-6 years of experience, and preferably CPA certification. Strong auditing, reporting, and ERP skills, including SAP, are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 4-6 years of job-related experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains updated and accurate filing and data systems for quick reference.
• Fulfills reporting requirements for ad hoc requests.
• Completes month-end close including inventory, journal entries, and reports.
• Prepares plant account reconciliations.
• Analyzes cost data and maintains standard cost for manufactured products.
• Researches variance issues to determine root causes.
• Verifies accuracy and compliance of financial reports.
• Interacts with internal and external auditors as required.
• Prepares monthly capital forecasts and analyzes investments for payback and ROI.
• Completes Annual Operating Plan and monthly financial forecast.
