Job summary

Hire Point Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in New York. The role supports accurate accounting and reporting across general ledger, payroll, and internal controls, with broad exposure to complex transactions and financial processes.

You will collaborate across Finance and other departments, prepare analyses and schedules, assist with audits, and contribute to process improvements as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to multiple corporate accounting areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform core general ledger accounting activities and support month/quarter/year-end closes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules, resolving discrepancies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
