Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong accounts payable experience.
• Experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel required.
• Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantage Point is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable process from invoice review to payment preparation and discrepancies resolution.
• Oversee general ledger integrity and reconciliation of accounts.
• Lead monthly and year-end close components with accurate journal entries.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Process payroll accurately and reconcile with the general ledger.
• Support internal controls over cash disbursements and vendor management.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and external accounting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and documentation.
