Qualifications

• Strong general accounting skills, including GL management, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting for leadership teams.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, advanced Excel, and large data analysis.
• Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audit support, and compliance practices in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Ability to collaborate with operations, project, and field teams to understand cost drivers, project margins, and facility-related expenditures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is preferred.
• Several years of progressively responsible accounting experience, ideally in industrial services, manufacturing, construction, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities and prepare and review journal entries.
• Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Prepare financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and perform variance and trend analysis.
• Reconcile accounts, oversee accounts payable and receivable, monitor fixed assets, and assist with cash management.
• Support internal controls, audit preparation, compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools.
