Job summary

BlueTeam, a US-based disaster recovery and remediation provider, seeks a Senior Accountant to support the Accounting Department with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This non-supervisory role partners with operations and audits, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate statements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years of finance experience; MBA/CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• MBA or CPA preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end close journals and post daily cash receipts.
• Reconcile bank activity and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and support schedules for audits and tax compliance.
• Assist in payroll data reporting and lease accounting with ASC 842 compliance.
• Identify process improvements and support ad hoc analyses for operations.
