The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. CPA is preferred. This position is on-site in Mesa, AZ and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including GL and month-end close.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and CIP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor general ledger accounts and enforce internal controls.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and CIP projects.
• Process capital expenditures and monitor open projects.
• Assist payroll accounting with journal entries and adjustments.
• Support daily banking activities and cash reconciliations.
• Assist audits with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
