Job summary

Lisinski Law Firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to drive accuracy and integrity across the general ledger and full accounting cycle. You will lead complex journal entries, reconciliations, and the month-end close, partnering with management to ensure timely GAAP-compliant reporting.

In this high-impact role, you will champion accounting improvements, automation initiatives, and intercompany transactions, with a pathway to influence tax reporting and analytics across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 6–10 years of accounting experience focusing on the full accounting cycle and financial reporting.
• CPA license highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the general ledger including complex journal entries.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements per GAAP.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close process with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Serve as SME on GAAP pronouncements for proper application and disclosure.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports for management.
