Gold Star Foods is seeking a self-motivated Senior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team in Ontario, CA. You will ensure accuracy in accounting, support month-end close, and maintain compliance with GAAP while preparing timely financial reports. The role requires 3 years of Sr.

Accountant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP software such as Navision/D365 is preferred, with strong communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is required.
3 years of Sr. Accountant experience is required.
Experience with inventory cost accounting and understanding of accounting for manufacturing is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Experience with ERP software (Navision / Dynamics 365) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Posting journal entries and accruals.
Balance Sheet and General Ledger reconciliations, including Bank reconciliations.
Maintain and reconcile fixed assets accounts and roll forward schedules.
Maintain capital leases ledger entries and roll forward schedules.
Review and record payroll journals for employees and contract labor.
