Job summary

Servco Pacific Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the AFS Automotive Accounting team in Hawaii. The role ensures the integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, supports month-end and year-end close, and assists with audits.

You will collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to improve documentation, workflows, and process narratives, while training and supporting accounting staff. Strong CPA and GAAP expertise are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum three years of senior accountant experience with general ledger, period close, reserves/estimates, reconciliations, analysis, and financial reporting.
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, automotive sectors or Big 4 preferred.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper accounting of transactions, reserves, and estimates under U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare and file regulatory reports and other compliance deliverables.
• Own the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers and related monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and staff-prepared schedules; document comments and guidance.
