Job summary

Doman Building Materials Group Ltd. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Shared Services Controller in financial strategy, FP&A, audits, and compliance.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and internal controls, with a focus on GAAP/IFRS and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities include preparing monthly and annual financial statements, coordinating audits, and assisting with budgets and cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting with CPA preferred or progress toward CPA.
• 3-5 years of finance experience with accounting emphasis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of GAAP/IFRS required.

Responsibilities

• Participate and collaborate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance requirements.
• Support FP&A activities including variance analysis.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with tax filings across city, state, local, and federal jurisdictions.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and support budgeting.
