Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Accountant on a 6-month contract in San Mateo, CA. The successful candidate will support the accounting team with Fixed Assets, Leases, and Intangible Assets oversight, while partnering with facilities and other stakeholders.

The role emphasizes process improvements, accurate financial reporting, and a strong control environment, with close collaboration across teams and a focus on IFRS compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• CPA/CA or similar certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, multinational environment ideal.
• Experience with Fixed Assets, Leases, and Intangible Assets accounting; IFRS knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Fixed Assets, CIP, Leases, and Intangible Assets accounting and compliance.
• Serve as main accounting contact for cross-functional business partners.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline close processes and controls.
• Supervise outsourced accounting team and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Ensure IFRS compliance (IAS 16, IAS 38, IFRS 16) and assist audits.
