Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in the construction sector. The role emphasizes fixed asset accounting, accurate financial reporting, and collaboration with the Financial Controller to ensure GAAP-compliant processes.

With 5+ years of accounting experience, you will prepare reports, assist budgets, and drive process improvements while maintaining high integrity and timely closings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial management.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fixed asset accounting: acquisitions, disposals, depreciation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct regular ledger activities and reconcile accounts.
• Develop and implement new procedures to improve workflow.
• Collaborate with Financial Controller and finance team.
