Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation completion or progress preferred.
• Insurance accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Workday desired.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other MS Office suite products.
• Experience evaluating and adopting AI solutions to enhance productivity, strengthen controls, and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly and quarterly journal entries and support critical accounting functions.
• Manage fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers.
• Review and approve capital expenditure requests for proper classification.
• Execute month-end close activities for fixed assets.
• Take on essential role in implementing a new invoicing process.
• Review and approve payment requests in Workday.
• Maintain and reconcile cash accounts.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Support internal control improvements and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
