Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 3 years of related experience.
• CPA certification (preferred).
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and training to accounting staff.
• Analyzes budget items, identifies reconciling items, and strengthens internal controls.
• Maintains departmental reporting and cost allocation systems.
• Produces and disseminates departmental financial statements.
• Acts as liaison between finance and operations and guides accountants in the function.
• Provides research and education to departmental leadership regarding financial transactions.
• Reviews monthly departmental financial statements and coordinates corrective actions.
• Participates in special financial projects and ad hoc reports as required.
