Job summary

Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. in Wildlight, FL, seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to support GAAP-compliant financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A for SEC filings.

You will partner with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accuracy and timely reporting. The role requires a CPA, at least three years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and in-depth knowledge of GAAP and SEC rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or higher.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills; experience with GL systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual and quarterly SEC filings, including footnotes and MD&A.
• Prepare quarterly earnings releases and investor materials.
• Support monthly consolidation and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with annual financial statement audits and internal control walkthroughs.
• Perform technical accounting research and document conclusions.
