Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting – Role

Our team is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to play a key role in our corporate financial reporting function. Assist in the annual financial statement audit and quarterly financial statement reviews by providing supporting documentation and explanations to the external audit team. Support the internal control environment, including maintenance of process control narratives and coordination of annual walkthroughs with external auditors, with the opportunity to expand responsibility in internal controls and audit coordination over time. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external audit requests.

Technical Accounting & Compliance

Perform technical accounting research, including evaluating new GAAP or SEC reporting requirements, and compile research into summarized results for management to outline the impact to Rayonier.

Process Improvement & Special Projects

Recommend and implement improvements to existing systems, work processes, and procedures. Other special projects as assigned.
