Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting for an automotive retailer based in Bend, OR. This role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under US GAAP, including preparing workpapers, schedules, and complex general ledger reconciliations.

Partners cross-functionally on technical accounting matters such as lease accounting, revenue recognition, and new accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience or large, complex private company exposure.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting & consolidations.
• Technical accounting (incl. lease accounting) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and reporting packages for leadership, equity stakeholders, and banking partners.
• Support monthly close process and technical accounting under US GAAP.
• Handle lease accounting and other complex reporting areas.
• Partner closely with FP&A on analysis and reporting (approx. 25%).
• Lead or contribute to accounting process improvement initiatives (approx. 25%).
• Work directly with senior finance leadership daily, including CFO and VP-level partners.
