Job summary

Navan in San Francisco seeks a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting to support financial reporting and equity administration under US GAAP.

You will own equity accounting preparation, assist in SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), and prepare cash flow statements and footnote disclosures while maintaining SOX controls. The role requires 3+ years of accounting, with a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls.
• Experience with equity accounting and SEC filings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own equity accounting preparation and tie-out.
• Assist in planning and execution of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Prepare financial statements including cash flow and footnotes.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and evidence.
• Coordinate with external auditors during reviews and audits.
• Support process improvements to streamline accounting processes.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.
