Job summary

AlffCo, a national facility management solutions provider, seeks a Senior Accountant in Omaha to manage core accounting functions and ensure financial accuracy. You will reconcile sub-ledgers, prepare statements, analyze variances, and support budgeting and tax filings.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, 3+ years of accounting experience, and solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of accounting best practices.
• Knowledge of IFRS, U.S. GAAP or another framework.
• Data entry skills with accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Produce work with high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
• Prepare financial statements and monthly analyses.
• Assess internal controls and conduct risk reviews.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses; budget variance.
• Assist AR team with receivables and cash receipts.
• Track and file sales tax instruments; assist with filings.
• Calculate and manage sales commission programs.
• Assist with budget design and preparation by management.
• Maintain records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
• Perform other duties as directed; ensure compliance with local reporting requirements.
