Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field is required.
• Two years of related experience in lieu of an associate's degree.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field is preferred.
• 2 years accounting, finance, or other related work experience, preferably in health care.

Responsibilities

• Performs accounting function for assigned entities, activities and/or service lines, with minimal supervision.
• Prepares schedules and analysis for audits and budgets.
• Examines accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards.
• Demonstrates full cycle experience including month end and year end close, GL reconciliations, audit, budget, and journal entry preparation.
• Ensures monthly financial reporting schedule is met and statements are timely and complete.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts.
• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital to summarize financial position.
• Assists department leaders and budget team in developing operational budgets and reporting variances.
• Prepares financial reports and presentation materials for management and stakeholders.
