Baptist Health Care is seeking an Accountant Senior to oversee accounting and financial reporting for assigned entities and service lines in Pensacola, FL. The role ensures compliance with company policies and GAAP, supports month-end and year-end close, and assists with audits and journal entries.

Responsibilities include preparing schedules and analyses, reconciling general ledger accounts, and coordinating with department leaders on budgets and financial presentations for management.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree is required or two years of related experience in lieu of an associate's degree.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required if experience adequate.

Responsabilités

• Performs accounting function for assigned entities, activities and/or service lines, with minimal supervision.
• Prepares schedules and analysis for various items including audits and budgets.
• Examines accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Demonstrates full cycle experience including month end and year end close, reconciliations, audit, budget, and journal entry preparation.
• Ensures monthly financial reporting schedule is met and distributions to management are timely.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts.
• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, summarizing financial position.
• Assists department leaders and budget team in development of operational budgets and variance reporting.
• Prepares financial reports and presentation materials for management and stakeholders.
