Job summary

TalentRemedy in Herndon, VA seeks a Senior Accountant to contribute to SEC filings, consolidated financial statements, and technical accounting documentation, ensuring U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX compliance for a newly public company.

Responsibilities include preparing sections of 10-K/10-Q, supporting audits, researching accounting matters, drafting memos, and handling consolidation entries. A CPA or CPA-eligible candidate with 3–5 years of public accounting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and high attention to detail in a regulated national security environment.
• Preferred experience includes XBRL/iXBRL tagging, Workiva, and Deltek Costpoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CPA-eligible, and 3–5 years of relevant experience (public accounting preferred).
