Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. in Murrysville, PA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team and manage financial analysis, GL reconciliations, and internal reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 5–7 years of accounting experience, and familiarity with D365 and Power BI. CPA is a plus, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5–7 years of related accounting experience preferred.
• CPA license a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred.
• Experience with Power BI preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of equipment inventory general ledger related accounts.
• Assist in reconciliation of parts inventory general ledger related accounts.
• Assist in reviewing machine estimates & purchase order receipts of inventory
• Review of divisional financial statements and Equipment profitability
• Prepare and review journal entries during month-end close process.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
• Review, analyze, and prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations on monthly basis
• Assist with year-end financial audit as required. Compile audit samples as requested by external auditors.
• Create ad-hoc reports / analyze data as requested by management
• Serve as backup for certain accounting functions performed by other members of team
• Other general accounting duties as assigned
