Job summary

Penske Entertainment in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Senior Accountant in Finance and Accounting to provide accurate financial information for INDYCAR and IMS Productions. This exempt, full-time role supports monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple brands.

You will partner with department leaders to analyze results, explain variances, and manage prize money and payouts. Strong Excel and ERP experience are essential, with a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Experience with financial and management reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse environment.
• Alignment with Penske Entertainment’s values.
• Experience with Dynamics GP and/or Workday Adaptive is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for executive leadership.
• Record accounting entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare reconciliations for accrual and asset accounts.
• Process event prize money and race team payouts.
• Analyze variances and review spending with department leaders.
• Provide monthly department spending reports.
• Assist in annual operating budget process.
• Support continuous forecasting with evolving assumptions.
• Deliver exceptional service to partners and colleagues.
