Job summary

LHH in Denver seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee our general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will review statements, manage month-end close, and provide insights to drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration skills. This on-site role offers strong benefits and a discretionary annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in supervision.
• GAAP knowledge and financial regulatory understanding.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of developing staff.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for accuracy.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify improvements and cost reductions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
• Stay current with accounting principles and industry trends.
