Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• Certified Public Accounting license preferred.
• At least three years of experience in general or tax accounting.
• Experience with computerized ledger systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Background check and drug and alcohol screening required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting principles and procedures in the department.
• Maintain financials for boards and manage regulatory reporting.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff as needed.
• Direct general accounting, payroll, cash receipts, and AP activities.
• Ensure compliance with laws and financial reporting standards.
• Prepare annual budget and monthly performance reports.
• Provide advisory support to executive leadership and management.
• Support board committees and strategic planning efforts.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
