Senior Accountant Expert [$60 - $120/hour]

Role Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness, providing insights based on established accounting standards
• Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenarios
• Create and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights
• Analyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues
• Review a variety of legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness, and alignment with regulations
• Deliver clear and constructive written and verbal feedback on project materials, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams
• Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging your prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation

Good Candidature

• Bachelor s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• In-depth expertise in economics, accounting, law, government regulations, and taxation
• Substantial experience preparing and auditing financial statements
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and budgetary controls
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication for technical subject matter
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Holding or having held one or more of the following job titles: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, Revenue Tax Specialist

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA) or equivalent practical experience
• Experience advising on or implementing financial systems and controls
