Job summary

Burdick & Associates, P.C. in the Denver Tech Center is seeking a Senior Accountant (Experienced) to lead engagements, mentor staff, and deliver client‑facing impact in an in‑office setting.

You will oversee audits, reviews, compilations, and complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts; manage client relationships and contribute to process improvements while enjoying Summer Fridays and a competitive salary range of $75,000–$100,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years public accounting experience with review/engagement leadership.
• Strong technical tax and/or assurance knowledge; supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA preferred (or equivalent experience). Oil & gas exposure is a plus (not required).

Work setting & hours:

• · In‑office (DTC).
• · Standard 8‑hour day with a consistent start between 7:30–9:30 a.m.
• · Busy season requires additional hours (see premium pay below).
• · Summer Fridays: every other Friday off from roughly May 15–Aug 1 (~6 extra PTO days).

Compensation & classification:

• · Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 (DOE; CPA and leadership scope influence offer).
• · Exempt premium: Salaried exempt roles are eligible for a straight‑time premium (1.0× equivalent hourly rate) for hours over 40 in a week.
• · Other compensation: No standard/formulaic bonuses; discretionary spot awards may be used for extraordinary contributions.
