Job summary

Gamma Capital Markets is seeking a Senior Accountant to serve as the operational engine of a lean finance team in San Francisco. You will own general ledger accounting and financial reporting, running month-end close and delivering monthly and quarterly financials for leadership and investors.

In this high-ownership generalist role, you will also manage AR, AP, and T&E, review vendor bills, and support the ERP implementation.

Qualifications

5+ years progressive accounting experience with full close cycle under US GAAP.
2–3 years in industry corporate accounting.
Experience preparing financial statements for management and investor reporting, and supporting external audits.
CPA or CPA-eligible.
Excel proficiency and hands-on ERP experience with QuickBooks Online or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

Own month-end close, from journal entries to balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and schedules for management and investors.
Run general corporate accounting including prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, leases, stock-based compensation, and payroll; support revenue entries.
Own AR, AP, and T&E; review and approve vendor bills, expense reimbursements, and cash receipts with automation handling routine tasks.
Support external audits and maintain internal controls documentation for your areas.
Assist ERP implementation from data migration through post-go-live optimization using AI to shorten the close.
