Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of assigned journal entries, analysis, and reconciliations. Maintains assigned subsidiary ledgers and provides support to the accounting department.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to think outside the box and be constantly looking for ways to improve processes and help the business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities to produce financial statements
  • Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
  • Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with GAAP
  • Maintains monthly production summaries
  • Reconciles various balance sheet accounts
  • Investigate issues providing explanations for discrepancies
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements
  • Solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysis
  • Assist with or lead the month end quarterly end close process
  • Perform work in a self-directed manner and work with less structured, more complex issues
  • Assess and interprets customer needs and requirements
  • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Demonstrate solid attention to details and effective multi-tasking
  • Contribute to team initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry or public accounting experience
  • Solid written and oral communications

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
