Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5-7 plus years’ experience in a corporate accounting environment.
• Experienced with accounting for complex business entities.
• Strong knowledge of both statutory and GAAP.
• Experience with annual accounting and SOX audits.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite and Concur a plus.
• Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly general ledger entries: cash, prepaid, accruals, allocations, intercompany, and lease accounting.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Track and allocate costs associated with different departments and cost centers.
• Prepare account reconciliation and roll-forward schedules.
• Assist with monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis as needed.
• Assist with SEC quarterly review, annual audit, and SOX compliance.
• Prepare and file sales & use tax, business property tax, VAT, etc.
• Assist with local statutory audits and filings.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
