Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a Senior Accountant in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, onsite. The role partners with the Assistant Controller to support the monthly close, maintain accounting accuracy, and provide technical accounting expertise across the organization. A CPA license and GAAP proficiency are required.

The ideal candidate has hands-on accounting experience, strong Excel skills, NetSuite experience, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment with long-term growth potential.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting preferred.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Lead and support month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, and collections.
• Maintain inventory and fixed asset records and support physical inventory counts.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource for the department.
