Job summary

Metals USA is seeking a Senior Accountant in Langhorne, PA to maintain accounting principles and oversee cost accounting for manufacturing operations. You’ll manage general ledger activity, financial reporting, and support year-end audits.

The role requires a Bachelor in Business Administration with accounting emphasis and 3–5 years in manufacturing cost accounting. Strong GAAP knowledge, SOX compliance, and ERP proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
• Three to Five years experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and Payroll Processing.
• Solid understanding of SEC and SOX compliance.
• Strong analytical, internal controls & organizational skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with all departments and multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures for accurate financial statements.
• Prepare general ledger, financial reporting and year-end audit prep and fixed assets.
• Coordinate payroll processing, production costs, purchases, AR/AP and inventory controls.
• Ensure SOX/SEC compliance, tax reporting and internal controls.
• Assist audits and provide timely financial management reports.
• Support monthly close and period-end reporting for multiple entities.
