CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to transition from public accounting into a strategic corporate accounting role in Tampa Bay, FL. You will leverage a strong GAAP foundation, participate in financial reporting, and interact with executive leadership on finance initiatives.

This role emphasizes process improvements, budgeting, forecasting, and collaboration with senior leaders to drive business outcomes while offering professional growth toward management tracks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Public accounting experience required.
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting research.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Lead or support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Research and apply technical accounting guidance while supporting accounting policy implementation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance initiatives.
• Partner with leadership on special projects, process improvements, and strategic business initiatives.
