Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Accountant in Corporate Accounting based in New York. The role supports monthly and quarterly closes, intercompany activity, and GAAP reporting, reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, CPA or on track, advanced Excel, and familiarity with SAP/S4 and Blackline. Hybrid schedule with benefits including medical, dental, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA or on track.
• Big Four public accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (including v-lookup, pivot tables).
• Knowledge of SAP/S4 and Blackline functionality preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly closing processes, including journal entries and intercompany reporting.
• Coordinate with HQ Controllership and international teams to meet close-to-report timelines.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and related analysis.
• Prepare intercompany recharges within NBCUniversal, Comcast, and SKY.
• Assist in UK statutory reporting and annual UK audit.
• Support process redesign and new applications testing.
