Job summary

Rad Pros, a nationwide environmental firm south of Watkins, Colorado, seeks a Sr. Accountant/Controller to oversee daily financial operations, including revenue assurance, analysis, and financial statement preparation.

This in-office role reports to leadership and collaborates with the CEO, COO, and project staff to drive efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with 3+ years of experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
• Three or more years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google, and other Microsoft Office applications. AI aptitude a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with leadership and project staff
• Exceptional integrity and ability to handle multiple tasks and safeguard confidential information required
• Process-oriented mindset with an interest in improving/simplifying systems and workflows
• Able to pass a background, drug/alcohol test without issue

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely and accurate financial statements using QuickBooks
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Audit client invoices and perform revenue assurance activities
• Oversee all reconciliations including asset and liability accounts
• Perform monthly financial close activities with reports and journal entries
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, and project-level financial tracking
• Collaborate with external CPA and other professionals as needed
• Monitor deadlines for tax payments and reporting requirements
• Drive accounting and administrative process improvements
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Support additional administrative or financial tasks as needed
