Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accounting Professional in the Edison, NJ area. The role requires performing detailed accounting tasks including AP, AR, accruals, WIP, prepaids, fixed assets, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close and financial statement prep.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of accounting experience, GAAP expertise, a relevant degree, and may hold CPA. In-office work hours are 9-5, with a generous compensation package including a bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3yrs accounting experience
• Construction accounting
• GAAP expertise a must
• Accounting or Finance degree
• Public accounting and/or CPA
• Ability to work in-office 9-5
• Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Handle AP and AR, accruals, WIP, prepaids, fixed assets
• Prepare journal entries and conduct financial reconciliations
• Support month-end close and financial statement prep
• Assist with other accounting duties as needed
