Job summary

Senior Accountant - Consolidations & Intercompany role with a large, multi-entity organization in Charlotte, NC. You will own the monthly close process, intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and related reporting to support a compliant, audit-ready consolidated financial close.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, 3–5+ years in accounting, GAAP/SOX knowledge, and experience with ERP/consolidation systems; CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations, or multi-entity close strongly preferred.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with ERP or consolidation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidation and elimination entries and supporting schedules.
• Support monthly and quarterly consolidated close activities.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations, confirmations, settlements, and related analysis.
• Research and resolve intercompany discrepancies and reconciling items.
• Support the accuracy and integrity of consolidation system data.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready documentation.
• Execute assigned internal controls and assist with audit requests.
• Partner across Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting, and business units.
• Support ongoing process and close improvements.

We are partnering with a large, multi-entity organization seeking a Senior Accountant - Consolidations & Intercompany. This individual will support consolidated financial close, intercompany accounting, eliminations, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
