Job summary

The Senior Accountant, Fund Administration & Complex Gifts at Oregon Community Foundation is responsible for preparing financial statements for 3800+ component funds and six supporting organizations. The role manages fund spending policies and administration fees, and accounts for non-cash gifts including real estate and business interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited 4-year institution.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible accounting, finance, real estate, or related experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business or another relevant field, or CPA, desirable but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare fund financial statements in coordination with multiple internal parties (quarterly for supporting organizations and agency endowment funds, semi-annually for advised funds, annually for scholarships and designated funds).
• Calculate annual spending policies for all funds and modify as needed.
• Manage the assessment of administrative fees for all funds and supporting organizations.
• Respond to donor and staff requests related to contributions and funds and provide reports on fund data.
• Oversee complex gifts including real estate, business interests, CRTs, CGAs and related processes.
