Job summary

AlphaSense, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own key areas of the monthly close, including COGS and accruals, within our Finance team. The role supports rapid growth at a well-funded tech company, with opportunities for advancement and cross-entity accounting exposure.

You will contribute to quarterly audits, work with NetSuite and FloQast, and collaborate with FP&A and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote environment across the United States.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience in SaaS or technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Public accounting (Big 4) experience preferred.
• Independent self-starter with strong time-management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; partner with FP&A.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with multi-entity and intercompany.

Responsibilities

• Own key areas of monthly close including COGS, cost allocations, and accruals.
• Prepare monthly accruals and reversals for vendor costs.
• Maintain COGS analysis for manager review.
• Prepare intercompany entries and reclasses across entities.
• Reconcile accrued expenses and support month-end close reviews.
• Lead accounting tasks and projects; liaise with internal departments.
