Job summary

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of accounting experience, a degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), strong US GAAP knowledge, and experience with NetSuite and Excel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Experience with SOX controls, documentation and testing.
• Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly accounting close process with journal entries for accruals and prepaids.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations; resolve items timely.
• Maintain SOX control environment; update narratives and risk/control matrices.
• Improve close efficiency; drive control enhancements with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with FP&A on accrual estimates and amortization schedules.
• Support work papers for quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Assist with policy implementation and system improvements as the company scales.
• Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.
