Job summary

Pavlov Media Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team in Champaign, IL.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, accounts payable, inventory control, project costing, and fixed assets, with opportunities to streamline processes and learn new systems. Ideal candidates will bring strong Excel and Power BI skills, a CPA or MBA preferred, and at least 4 years of progressive accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter end, and year end close processes.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with annual audit.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledger, and other records dealing with finance business transactions.
• Reconcile records with internal employees, management, and vendors.
• Support A/P processing.
