Job summary

Worldwide Power Products is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage month-end close, account reconciliations, financial analysis, payroll accounting, and internal controls. You will partner with management and operations to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial information while supporting initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability within accounting.

The role requires 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, GAAP expertise, advanced Excel, and experience with ERP systems

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
CPA certification or active CPA candidate preferred.
4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close activities for assigned business areas.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Assist in preparing timely and accurate financial statements.
Perform monthly variance analysis and provide insights to leadership.
Support payroll processing, reconciliations, commissions, and incentive accounting.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and automation initiatives.
Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, HR, and leadership.
