Frederick Fox LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in Plano, TX. The role blends hands-on accounting, financial analysis and process improvement to strengthen our financial reporting and controls.

The ideal candidate brings 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, CPA certification, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. You will partner with various departments and external auditors to support audits and ongoing reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances and identify key trends.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit requirements.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist with technical accounting matters and mentor junior staff.
• Support ad hoc accounting and financial analysis projects.
