Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with emphasis in Accounting.
• 2–4 years progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Public accounting or advisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and familiarity with statutory accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close and consolidation, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare management reports and complete financial statements for monitoring trends and margins.
• Communicate with terminal managers and joint venture partners about monthly results.
• Coordinate with Billing and external parties (e.g., port authorities) on unusual results.
• Analyze month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter variances.
• Prepare and review various audit reports and assist with accounting procedure optimization.
