Job summary

Focus Search LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Renton, WA to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data under U.S. GAAP.

You will review, reconcile, and post GL transactions, perform complex analyses, and support month-end close and financial reporting, including Form 10-Q and 10-K disclosures. The role partners with internal teams and acquired entities, oversees fixed asset accounting, and handles specialized areas such as foreign exchange, intercompany transactions, and ASC 842 lease

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 4+ years accounting experience.
• SAP and/or Blackline experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, reconcile, and post accounting transactions to the general ledger.
• Perform complex account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage month-end close activities and support financial reporting (Form 10-Q/10-K).
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and specialized areas (foreign exchange, intercompany, ASC 842 lease accounting).

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reviewing, reconciling, and posting accounting transactions to the general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. This role performs complex account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities while supporting financial reporting, including Form 10-Q and 10-K disclosures. The position partners with internal teams and acquired entities to maintain consistent accounting practices, oversees fixed asset accounting, and handles specialized accounting areas such as foreign exchange, intercompany transactions, and lease accounting (ASC 842).
